Hey everyone, I just bought a 95 Blazer 4.3 4 door today and so far it's great but I am having a small problem with remote entry.
It comes with what I think is an Avital remote starter and keyless entry remote (I found a picture online that looks just like my remote). I figured out how to start it but the doors won't lock or unlock when I try to use that feature. The lights flash twice when I try it. The remote has two buttons and an red LED light at the top.
I have a factory remote for the Blazer that will lock and unlock the doors, but I would rather only carry one remote around in my pocket.
Any ideas? I would also appreciate some advice on things to look out for with my "new" Blazer.
Thanks for your help.

Take a look at the "How To/Tech Info Thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=2069)" and you can see the problem others have had.

my guess is that the installer didn't hook it up. If you can get a model number of the Avital unit, I can try to send you an install manual. Usually, it's just 2 wires to 2 wires in the vehicle to get them to work.
