Small question about boats

Hi guys

Sorry, I know this is not the good place to post, but I maybe some of you already made a ship kit and can help me.

I want to build a ship for my father, something like the Queen Mary II made by revell, but the ship would need to be less than 30", the Queen Mary II is 34" :-(

Do you have a nice kit to recommand? Something like a passenger ship, it will be my first kit of this type.

I looked on plastic-models.com, the Queen Mary in 1/570th comes in at 20.7" and the Titanic in 1/200 at 26-3/8". The Oriana in 1/495 is 19-5/8" long.

The Queen Mary 2 can be had in 1/600 at 22-5/8" long
