chevrolet venture transaxle cable 2001 . The automatic gear shift is hard to go into park and 1st . Is there an adjustment for this cable . Help would be appreciated

as a general rule, there is never any adjustment. All you can do is verify the linkage mechanisms are OK, and if so, its the cable that is the problem.
