I just bought a 1995 Honda Civic Coupe with a D16Z6 Motor, the problem is its auto. -_-. So I need a D serious 5 speed tranny. From what I read in the help me files, that any D serious tranny will bolt right up. Im only looking to spend about 200 bucks for a tranny, I would need the shift linkage also.

You can reach me at [email protected], I live in Waynesboro PA.

"B serious!" Haha, I couldn't help it. A friend of mine may have an extra D series trans in his garage. I'll let you know. Just an FYI, an auto to manual swap is a BITCH.

With the auto to manual you need (manual ECU. flywheel *i think* clutch kit, shift linkage) the car that Im putting the motor in is a 5 spd already. And what you mean B Serious?

I've got an tranny from a 93 lx with about 180,xxx miles on it. It will bolt right on and I have the shift linkage. You will need the clutch though I'm willing to sell for $50 plus the shipping (unless you want to drive all the way to NC for it). The only problem it has is the slight grind into second gear like all honda trannys have once they have some miles on them but it's nothing "serious" :iceslolan . What AudioGuy93DelSol meant was that your spelling serious instead of series. It's ok. Your not the first person on this sight to make a spelling or grammer mistake. Let me know if your interested. My email is [email protected]. 94SolGirl I'll post the serial number if you need it.

I already have the tranny that I need, and if Im not mistaken isnt the 93 a hydro? I need cable. Thanks anyways tho. And all the hondas that I have have no grinding going into second, and all mine have 200,000 miles on them.

Yeah it's a hydro. Interesting, I've owned about 4 different hondas now (2 accords and 2 civics all different years and gens) and all of them would get a slight grind into second gear around the 100,000 mi mark. It's not difficult to shift into and it's still as smooth as the other gears, but you can hear the change more distincly than before and moreso than other gears. I've been told its really common.
