junk yard 98 3kgt

Today I just bought a 98 3000gt from my local junk yard. Body and interior was mint, the only thing that was wrong with the car was that it had a bad trans and engine. I would like to know if the center tail light aplique will fit on my 92? I'm thinking of doing a rebuild and turbo, but not until later when Im finish with the vr4.

i'm pretty sure it will fit. many people have swapped the 99 rear garnish into ever year model of car. can't recall exactly what the 98 rear light looks like, but i'm sure it will fit. now that you have the car, it would be a simple measure and swap.

just curious, how much did you pick the car up for? always nice to have a parts car laying around.

Any chance you wanna sell one of hte rims? I'm looking for a 6 spoke stock 18" chrome wheel. (if it's a vr4, wasn't sure which trim it was)

I paid $800 for the car. I have a set of 99 vr4 rims on my 92 that I am willing to sell for cheap, because they are kind of beat up. The 98 is not a vr4 it is a sl. and the 98 front end is already sold. If you want the antenna give me a price and your adress and I'll see if I can do it. If anyone else need anything else, I have the full interior, hatch, doors, wing, taillights without the center piece, mirrors, and other body parts.

Only interested in one wheel. So let me know if you are willing to break up the set. Also if you would mind posting pics, and what price you are looking to get for 1.

i have a power antenna that pops up nxt to the hatch, maybe $60. also i need some of the access panels that r in the hatch, all the ones that r see'able from above the tire cover. $75 for all that?

Lets see the wheels and everything else! The lips are bent (and subsequently hammered in if extreem) on 3 of mine but they hold air perfect, only one that dosent hold air is the perfect rim!
