3 out of 4 power windows go up and down with the key (passenger side rear does not go up). The driver's window will not go up or down with the switch on the door, but works great with the key (alarm). From the same switch, the front passenger window works fine. I am most concerned with the driver's winodow. I have also noticed that the LED's for switch illumination do not work on the driver's door, but work great every where else. I wasted 50 bucks on a new switch.
I have dismantled the door and checked/cleaned every connector, dismantled the terminal on the A pillar and cleaned all of the connections, with no success.
Because the window goes up and down with the key (alarm), I am thinking the motor and regulator are ok. Am I missing something?:banghead:
Is there something called a power window control module? Is that built into the motor, regulator or seperate piece (assuming it exists). I saw that in my Bentley wiring diagrams.

Did you try checking the wiring in the rubber boot between the front door and the body? That's typically what causes strange electrical behavior in the doors. The wires eventually break after so many open and shut cycles of the door, the metal fatigues.

I have completely disassembled the black connector and the connections between the door and front pillar. There seems to be power there, using my meter and the connections seem to work as designed.
I will be trying more today.

Seems you were right. With the door open and the rubber boot disconnected at both ends, multiple broken wires were found. After fixing those that were broken, and a couple that were about to break, everything now works as it should. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. ;)
