hey guys my 2000 gt threw an SES light. autozone says it's the coolant temperature sensor indicates a temperature value that is below the thermostat regulating temperature.
just wondering if that means change coolant sensor or thermostat? and which are good. and any other info i may need. wither way sounds like a cheap fix in anycase. thanks for all your help!

Do a search on this forum for the keyword "P0128". There is some great info and knowledge just waiting be sucked into your brain. :) Autozone tried to talk me into buying a coolant switch I didn't need. Thanks to this forum, its saved threads have saved me quite a few bucks and has helped keep my sanity dealing with my two GPs.

I would try the t-stat first, especially if you notice the low heater output even when the car is warmed up. The t-stat is part of regular maintenance, so try it first. It still could be a sensor issue, so don't rule it out.
