Seized spark plugs

I just replaced all of my spark plugs and they were really overdue. All of them were seized but not to a point were it was extremely difficult to twist off. I am pretty sure that their is some build up around the thread inside the chambers. I know that there shouldn't be anything inside the chambers especially dirt. Should I use some kind of cleaner to wipe off the build up or a little bit of rust wouldn't hurt.

Don't mess with anything inside the plug holes. Replace the plugs with ones with antiseize compound on the threads and leave well enough alone.

I used NGK Iridium. The spark plugs that were previously in there were Bosch Platinum. I actually thought anything less than platinum would seized but apparently platinum do seize and hopefully iridium will not.

The electrode material (iridium, platinum, etc.) has nothing to do with whether the threads seize or not. Put some antiseize compound on the threads of all the plugs of any electode composition.
