Weak/Hesitation on Warm Start?

When my 1996 Toy. Avalon has been running (engine is warmed up) and I stop for a short while and then restart the engine, it starts ok, but as soon as the engine catches there is a super slight hesitation like the engine wants to give out (as if you were punched in the stomach and had the wind knocked out of you) and I THINK I see the engine oil light on for a brief second longer (during that hesitation) than it usually is on at starting. After this very brief hesitation, it's gone and the engine resumes. There is no excessive cranking required at all during the start. It happens right away after turning the key.
Any ideas?? Thanks.

How about regular maintenance stuff: spark plugs, ingnition wires, distributor cap?
How about sea foam cleaning? It may also help!
I would also check the alternator output. Should be around 14.6 volts.
