79 volvo 240 cranks wont run

79 vovlo 240 fuel inj. wont start, spray ether runs till i stop, both pumps work took off fuel filter runs threw both side off, pump out of tank in bucket runs right back into bucket, spark is great on all cyl. tested with spark light, as said will run with fluid, i am not driving this on the street it is a race car demo derby but it is not running anymore it did run in a few heats but went out to the next and it just wouldnt start ever again, is there a spark resistor in the dist. that allows the inj to fire, adn where is the pressure reg cant find anything in my chiltons, what else could be my problem, i have 2 of these with the same deal and the otherone isnt even torn down still stock complete, in the one i am working on now the fuel tank is in the back seat bolted down for racing no kinks in line fresh fuel what do i need to do to the inj. or the spark/inj realy or something any help to get it runnin would be great hate to see a good tuff car just sit and rust
