1995 ford ranger PCV valve

Hello,
on my 1995 ford ranger 2.3l 5speed manual,
i cannot find my PCV valve.. chiltons shows a picture but not detailed, i look where it's supposed to be and cannot find it.
does anyone have any knowledge of where it is?

II've got a 2000 ranger with a 2.4L engine. If yours is like mine, then the problem is that your not looking low enough. My PCV took me forever to find, I finally figured out that where I thought the pictures were telling me was actually to high in the engine...... Hope this helps.
