2003 Ford Sport Trac Keyless Remote

Anyone know how to program new remote for this Truck?

Mine's a 2004 and you turn the key on-off until the locks cycle (5 or 8 times I can't remember). When the locks cycle press the key FOB lock botton for all your remotes one at a time within 5seconds apart. when you turn your ignition off your locks will cycle to confirm the program was accepted. Test your FOB(remote) and your good to go. Just a note, not all Ford remotes are compatible. My older 97 Taurus remote did not work with my Explorer one.

Do not press brake pedal during REMOTE ENTRY programming procedure as it will immediately exit you from that mode. Electronically unlock the vehicle prior to attempting to enter Remote Entry Programming Mode. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times with 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. All doors will ock then unlock to confirm orogramming mde. Within 20 seconds press any button on the 1st remote tranmitter. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. Within 20 seconds press any button on the 2nd transmitter. (Up to 4 transmitters total possible.) Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

Need to know if Explorer Spor Trac XLS 2003 come with key remote.

I don't know if yours came with remote keyless. Does it have the keypad on the door? If so, it's a safe bet that your truck came with remote keyless entry.

I think most XLS trucks came with keyless but not all, like SHROD said if your truck has a keypad then more than likely it did, you could also go to a Ford Dealership and they could also probably tell you.
