So I saw a post here a few days ago about homemade mounts.. so I wanted to try it since I knew my mounts were busted... so.. I managed to remove the 2 lower mounts (the 2 smaller ones...) and and one big driverside mount by the power steering resivoir. Man... the three engine mounts I removed were all slit/cracked, not even connecting with the center piece.. So I filled the mounts with urethane and all good.. they are currently drying...
Now.. the mount that I originally needed to fix was the rear engine mount. Right now it's completely useless since there is NO rubber left in it and has been causing my engine to jerk around all the time. While I'm driving down the road, if I accelerate hard, the car pulls to the side due to the engine shift. I know it was the mount because the engine when accelerated would completely shift and pivot. 2 alignment peeps told me this as well. I'm asking... HOW DO YOU GET TO OR REMOVE THE FRIGGIN REAR MOUNT? That's the one needing most work and is the one I can't fix :(... Any ideas or easier ways to remove that thing?
I broke my ratchet attempting to remove the passenger big mount next to the intake. One of the nuts came off, and the second, I'm trying HARD to loosen that fugger untill PLAH! The ratchet head broke off... so... yea I know I need impact tools. I'm buying a beautiful 200PC Air tool set and as well buying the compressor. Please won't anyone help me with that rear mount? There's only 5 total right?

yes there is only 5. you dont need to do the 2 side mounts, only the 3 torques mounts make the most diff.. and air tools work wonders. good luck.
