Hi-RPM vibration

Wondering if anyone has an idea why a '90 lude has vibration when accelerating at 2700+ RPM? No power loss, just a noticable vibration. Techs at a Honda dealership can't figure it out, even though they can produce the vibration at the shop...

check the exhaust pipes or engine mounts.

You are close- the dealership discovered that the O2 sensor was not in properly. They needed to order a new sensor, but it was going to be a couple of days before it arrived due to the holidays. I just bought one and had them install it so that we could get the car back that day.

If it's just noise, could be the catlytic converter. The cv joints can do it, but you will feel the vibration.
