91 3.9 Stalling problem

I have a 91 Dakota with the 3.9. The problem is that I have an intermitting stall, this happens weather I am driving down the road or idling. It was fine for the first 2 weeks of owning it. So far I have replaced: thermostat, both temps sensors, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil and the air filter. When it comes o starting it back it, it is a hit or miss problem. Sometimes it will start right back up and then there are other times were I almost drain the battery. For some reason I dont think it is the fuel pump either because when it wont start back up there is still fuel coming out of the injectors.

Thanks
Chris

Were there any codes? During an extended crank, have a helper crank the vehicle while you check for spark at the plugs.

On other makes and models, during cranking, I have seen injector spray patterns that looked ok, but the fuel pressure was too low. With an extended crank, the injectors would finally spray get enough gas in there and the vehicle would start. But it ran poorly and died quickly. I'm not saying the fuel system is your problem. The fact that you have an injector pulse does show that the computor is receiving an rpm signal.

It has no codes stored. I replaced the pickup coil and it seems to be running fine. But the real test will be tomorrow when I drive to work
