Oil light on and off on a '94 Concorde

It started on Sunday while driving on the turnpike, the oil light just lit on. Pulled out, checked the oil level, looked good, started again- the light didn't come.
Yesterday I added some more oil to be on the safe side and drove it without any problems.
Today while I was driving the light came on again. It disappeared after I turned the ignition off and started again and I was able to drive home without any problems.
My guess is it is either the oil pump or the oil pressure sensor.
Replacing the pump looks like a major work so I want to replace the sensor first and see what happens.
The thing is that it is not mentioned in the book and nobody seems to know were it is located.
Does somebody know were to look for the thing – left or right, top or bottom of the engine?
Thanks!

i would check oil pressure with a gauge, if ok. replace oil pressure switch and perform this tsb. Even though it may be a different year, engine, etcc. I have done it on most vehicle's with the same complaint and it has worked good luck!!

SUBJECT: Engine Oil Pressure Light Flicker
DATE: Oct. 15, 1999
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves adding a terminal/wire/vent to the oil pressure switch connector.
NOTE: THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 2.7L ENGINE.
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Verify engine oil pressure as described on page 9-21 of the 1999 Concorde/Intrepid/LHS/300M service manual (Publication No. 81-270-9140). If engine oil pressure is within specification perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
Qty Part No. Description
1 05017800AA Wire Terminal/Vent

His cars a 1st gen(94)
2.7 wasnt introduced till 98 (2nd gen)
The sensor should be located next to the oil filter.

Thanks guys, I found the sensor - it's right next to the filter as you said it is and replaced it.
The oil light is off now, so I guess the sensor was bad - lucky me!
