i have a 96 lsi 1.3 what trannys will fit? is there one with a better acceleration? cause the junk yards around here dont have a single metro in them but there are some prizm's ans storms n stuff like that havent seen a swift yet or i would have that tranny and motor lol but i shreaded first gear in my tranny and was looking to see if a storm tranny or something would fit the same and/or is it ezr to just have a tranny shop rebuild my tranny?

a 3 cyl metro one will fit and give you better power but you might lose some mileage. only the metro and swift transmissions will fit.

A 1.0 will fit but the gearing is different. I would recommend sticking with a 1.3 l tranny. JDM units are available from importers on ebay and if you look up Japanese engine importers in your phone book or online some of them should have them also.

Good Luck
