Great little car, I would love this kit, I agree about the panel lines but all in all a nice clean build. I bet it looks good sitting next to your Mini.

quadzero, I can make a foto of this 2 cars together. Are you interested in it?

For sure, actually I was interested in which car was the smaller one but seeing it would be better. Also, I was curious about the engine in this model. It must be very tiny but makes me want this kit all the more.

I would like to see jus how small this is.

Great little build! It's a terrific kit, but it is tiny. If you decide to do the panel lines, don't use black! It will totally ruin the appearence of the model. Since you painted it in TS, you can easily and safely use thinned acrylics to add some color.

If anyone wants to see how small this kit really is, check out this thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=498259). The Mini actually is bigger.

Les, when you put your hand on a 500 call me: good first hand refs for you. I have 5 or 6 to do, from the D to the Abarth 1000TCR :D

BTW is there any car even smaller than the 500?i mean model car.of course 1/24 scale.
EDIT:are there some tiny cars meeting on AF?if not do we need one?they're so damn sweety IMO!actually i'm a tiny car fan.  :sunglasse

Well, there's the Vespa in Tamiya's Campus Fiends set- that's smaller than a 500.

Other than that, I'm not sure that even the Gunze BMW Isetta or Messershmidt are really smaller than the 500. Besides, if you find the Isetta, I'll resent you forever- :cya:as I haven't been able to get my hands on one :disappoin :crying:

BTW i just did some search for you and found the isetta on a japanese online shop with the price 6800 yen,but unfortunately sold out :frown: ,but i guess GSI will re-release their hi-tech series soon, you can find the AR 1750GT is now waiting list mail on 1999 as well as some curbside models of GSI.
PS:anyone has some ideas of the toyota s800?it looks rather tiny.

6800 yen, huh? That about says it all. If I managed to buy it for that, it would easily be the most expensive kit in my stash on a price/size basis.

Nah, the Toyota S800 is a good bit bigger than the Fiat (the Honda too I think, but I would have to check). But I've seen the Fujimi kit, and it is just cool! (If you're into that kind of thing. :smooch: ) Obnoxiously cute, and it even has an engine.

Isetta and the Messershmitt fuji kit is approx 30-35 eur here

If they re-release those kits I want the GTO, well not "the" but "a lot of"

The Isetta is slightly smaller but taller. I Messer' is longer but smaller in every other respect. I have built in my 'to finish' pile. They have been there over a year! Maybe I need to dig them out!

I thought that too at first but a google image search turned up a Toyota S800 - also very mall and strikingly similar front end to the 2000GT
