94 Heater Core Opinion

My 94 chevy blazer heater core smelled up my interior, soaked my floor, and fogged my windsheild. It just has to make it for me through the winter and then I am getting rid of it. Should I go through the trouble of trying to fix it or should I pour some of the quick fix pellets in my radiator? Or is that bad for the cooling system? Heat works just fine but Im sick of wiping my windshield off every 5 min any response would be great thanks

Replace it. The quick fix pellets cause more harm than good.
