Ok, rinsed off the engine today and about 15 minutes later the radio came on with the key off and out of the car! I didn't realize it because my gf was cleaning the inside and thought she'd turned it on. Tinkered with it, the dash warning lights come on as if you have the key in the run position without the engine running, even with the key out of the switch. Fooled a bit more and if you have the fan blower in any position except off and 5 everything is off. Left it at that and figured I'd see in the morning. Now my neighbor comes to the door, the lights are on! Well, it appears it was the DRL, so I pulled the relay and disconnected the battery. The fuse/relay box did have a bit of water in it, so I guess I'll dry it out in the morning with a hair dryer. Anybody ever have something like this happen before?

I've had some wierd things happen but not to that extent. I wash my engines off pretty regularly with no problems.

Well, looked it over today and don't find anything new. Pulled the DRL relay and most everything goes away, but now if you put it in gear the horn blows! My gf has to drive it tomorrow so I pulled the relay for the horn & DRL, everything seems ok otherwise. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Also, the relays are not "keyed" so I put then in the same as all of the others, so you can read from the drivers side-anybody have any of theirs the other way? Didn't have the horn blowing last night... Thanks, and Merry Christmas to all!

Sounds like you soaked the fuse box under the hood.
Its probly all shorting out and you need to get it dried asap.
Also keep the battery disconnected till its dried out;)
Removing the fuses and relays(everything) would help it dry faster. A hair dryer would speed things up. Compressed air would help as long as its filtered and dry air.
The relays only go in one way and You probly shouldnt mix them up. Pretty sure they are all the same but not certain on the 04's.
Merry Christmas !
