Well its finally done. My 71 Hemi Cuda in Testors panther pink. this one seemed to take forever, glad its finnally done. I wish I would have corrected the front ride height. I also warped the hood when I was polishing it out, so now it doesnt fit properly. other than that I liked the kit. Let me know what you think, good or bad!

Good or bad? I just see all good. I love the colour and the finish is really nice, especially in the 3rd picture. This really turned out well. How did the engine turn out? Sitting next to the Super Bee thou I would say add some BMF to it also. With these bright colours, you really have an eye catching pair of muscle cars here. Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the comments. I had to strip the hood 3 times before the paint went on smooth. now its too thick at the front so I didnt bmf the hood pins. Not much for the engine. PAinted the heater hoses and battery cables. Its your typical hemi orange with black rocker covers. Im thinking I am going to wire the engine on my next build. The paint turned out nice for testors spray.I topped it off with tamiya ts13 clear and then polished it out with model maker polishing cloths...yes all the way to 12000 grit, if you can call 12000 grit, more like polishing with a piece of leather.

Beautiful work on the paint. You don't see many panther pink Mopars around and you did that one justice. At first I thought that the rear spoiler might be placed a bit too far forward, but after looking at a few images online I guess that's how some of the came? Nice work!

Those are two BRIGHT Hemi's dude. :smokin: I have never been too fond of the pink but the shine is great for testor's and it looks good next to the green Bee. Great job!

The paint looks very nice--good shine, but isn't the Plymouth pink a little darker (more of a magenta)? Just wondering. I built this kit a long time ago, did a terrible job, tried to spray paint candy apple red (and failed). Now, I resolved the problem by using a hairdryer and other techniques to make the model into a wreck diorama. So even though I did a bad job on the model, it looks detailed and realistic now that it's crumpled. But I would definitely build it again, now that I have good skills; I just wish it was 1/25 instead of 1/24...

YA I think the colour is a little more magenta in the 1:1 I used testors hot magenta, not their panther pink. Panther pink seemed lighterthan the hot magenta. YA I do wish it was a 1/25 instead of 1/24.
Thanks for all the comments guys. One of these times I am actually going to wire the engine and have some engine shots as well.
