MK1 MR2 Capabilities

I was wondering what engines are capable of fitting into the MK1 MR2 and wich one is the best to use for drag racing and top speed?Thanks alot!!!

you can fit quite a few engines, some with more work than others. the 4age and 4agze that it came with are the easiest... slightly more difficult would be a 4agze with a turbo instead of a supercharger. and significantly more difficult would be a 3sgte (like I did) or a V6. Bill Strong (mr2oc) has even put a northstar v8 into the back of a mk1.
