Transmission conversion??

At first i wasnt even going to ask this because i thought i was a complete idiot, but after looking around on the internet a little i realized its not completely out there. anyway, i have a 4 speed auto and i hate it. could a conversion to a 5 speed be done and if so, is it worth it?

hells yeah it can be done. Check out a junkyard and see if they have any tranny's there (make sure you get the right one for either the 4g64 or the 6g72). Not sure what it would cost, but my bet is a junkyard would be the best price. Also, check ebay, they sometimes have these things on there.
