Are the headlights on ebay a good buy, are they as good as the orginal ones?

Are you referring to headlight bulbs, or the headlight lens/housing?
Many of the lens/housing assemblies on eBay are used ones, removed from wrecked cars. So, in that case, yes, they will be as good as the original ones.
