loud motor knock

I own a 2001 tacoma 4x4 . It came up with a bad knock . After 2 motor replacements I discovered the problem to be the balancer cam bearing.You can check this from the bottom of the motor by removeing the oilpan.

Are you saying you had three motors with a knock? I assume you a speaking of the internal shaft balancers. Interesting.
