Need an engine for the Demon Honda, looking for b16b

Where is the best places to start looking?

Don't get the B16B engine, it's way overpriced and doesn't have enough power to warrent the price. It has 185hp and 118tq at a price of around $3,800. The B18c on the other hand (non-type r) has 180hp and 129tq, for a price of $3,200. These are rough prices, but are similar to what you'll see anywhere. The B16b is a destroked Integra Type R engine (B18c), Spoon Sports even makes a "stroker kit" for it. the stroker kit is just the crank, pistons, and rods of the B18c (ITR). So you'd be better off to just save a few hundred dollars and have more displacement.

The B16B is over priced......go w/ an LS/VTEC or a GSR.....or just save your money and boost whatever you have. For the price, the B16B (CTR) is not a good buy....get a GSR engine and do a little work to it....even a boosted LS/VTEC could be done for the price of a CTR swap and would be much more powerful
