Look what i got for free!!!!

well almost free. All i had to do is put a evo 3 engine in a talon and this kid said he had a motor he would give me. So i said let me see it first, as soon as i saw it i said ok lets do it. The engine has less than 500 miles on it :grinyes: Thats right less than 500 miles.

What happen was the kid baught a brand new rebuilt engine and the belt slipped and bent 4 valves. I only see 4 valves that are bent but i will know more when i take the head off. Have no clue what i will do with it since my engine is fully built now :screwy: Nevermind my dirty garage lol

niiice... just give it to me, I need one to put on a stand and build...

When i was laying in bed last night i was thinking of building a 2.3 stroker out of it but thats just an idea, im not sure if i will keep it and do a 2.3 or just part it out.

I wouldn't be able to sleep over something like that... lol...

It's got to be. I'm constantly laying in bed, trying to fall asleep, only to keep laying there awake because I'm thinking about what turbo upgrade I wanna do, or what FMIC to get, or whether I should do some research on cams and some adjustable cam sprockets. It goes on and on man. Never ending.

My engine blew 2 days ago. If you decide to sell it I am a interested. Seriously I am looking for an engine since my has a bended rod, broken cylinder and some bended valves. I found one on DSmtuners, guy said its still for sale and 4 days in a row he wont anwer PMs. I really need an engine since my parents are screeming at my head for buying a Mitsubishi and not a Toyota or some crap like that.

Any one here on the forums with a engine for sale.. I WANT IT.

IF you post on our local boards. SD Local Scene (http://www.sddsm.org) someone there will probably have a motor and for cheap. We have a few DSM shops in the area and one of them might have a motor they can sell you for cheap and arrange some shipping deal out.

How in the hell did you do that? IIRC, the Evo III motor is setup the same way as the 420a.

It was a evo 3 JDM imported from japan, it had no emissions no nothing, different intake, 510cc yellow top injectors which i ended up with and have no use for them lol. It bolted right up NP. Here it was before i put it in, notice the different routing for the BOV and a few other things. I did not use the tranny, he sold that after.

Can't be an Evo 3, those engines were set up opposite the 4g63, like the 420a.
