1960 Engine Swap

I have a 1960 VW Beetle that has been converted to 12V. I have a 1200cc engine that I want to replace. What transmission work will I need to do when I swap the engine for an 1835cc or larger. The current transmission is a very new rebuilt 4 spd that I had the bell bored to fit the larger fly wheel.
