Haha, Modern is possibly the greatest place you can order something from. There shipping is the fastest(for me at least). I can order something Monday morning and receive it Tuesday afternoon with the base grade shipping. They are completely lagit.

your in trouble, they will never ship, and will run off with your money. why did you spend your money on someone, then do research afterwards? shouldnt you have asked before hand? you got lucky this time, it appears that a huge percentage of vendors that sell srt4 components are complete and total theives, but modern isnt

If I'm not mistaken, there are no harnesses that are plug and play for the srt4. BUT, you can go on "that other forum" and find a how to for installing it without one.

yeah, ur right there waz no wirin' harness....but I got it installed already...now my only question is how do I get it to work on AUTO MODE...for it to determine...how long my timer should be on after I tooken the key off...I think i know how to set it...like movin' the max mintues, auto calculations rate "H, N, L", and minimum...but it never moves from the minimum...at least not yet why?

It depends on if the "installer" hooked those wires up. There is a special hook-up to(if I remember correctly) to one of the ecu wires. Check to see if he(or she) installed that; probability being not.

hey guyz....lookin' to get a new set of lowerin' springs....for my SRT-4... which one's should I go with?.... I'm lookin' at the Eibach or Tein ... but is there any better suggestions?... without spendin' $1,000 !!!

if your going with springs, the hotchkis ones are the only ones worth your money. the eibach's are too soft, and havnt had good luck with the teins either. the hotchkis were desined by drivers of the car, and were track tested. other than that, you might want to upgrade to coilovers, as they will handle even better...but add quite a bit to the cost

You can't make the Apexi Turbo timer work on auto mode with our cars no matter how you hook it up because it doesn't get accurate readings off of our cars o2 sensor.:nono: Just set it for anywhere between 1-2 minutes and leave it at that. You can always hold the button to the left to shut the car down faster if you like. Or just turn the key off before you lift the e-brake.:grinyes:

If you're budget will only allow springs then find yourself a set of Mopar Stg 1 springs. They ride the smoothest out of all of them especially without having to upgrade your struts.

but teh mopars dont drop much, are too soft for real improvement when it comes to handling, and are wicked expensive. you can get the hotchkis springs for $150, and they are designed to handle well, not drive cadilac smooth

I want something stiff...and I wanna feel an improvement in handling !! but I only got 500 bucks :(... I felt the tein for 184.99 they feel really cheap and SOFT !!...but I'll keep lookin'...I was thinkin' about going STAGE 1 MOPAR...they got them in MODERN PERFORMANCE for like 205!!...does anyone have these?

Get some Eibach sportlines and then some welfare sways and call it a day for the handling aspects.

Like TEX said Hotchkis will give you better handling and the Mopar Stg1 will give you a smoother lowered right. DON'T get Eibachs...They ride like ass and people have alot of problems with blown struts.:nono:

i really think you are going to wrong way with springs, but its your money. i had my hand in the designing of the hotchkis springs, and i have discussed the eibach springs with the owner of the company of eibach. after dealing with both companies, i know which way i would go. but again, its your money and your car. let us know

I'm gonna have to agree with Tex on this one. You're definitely making the wrong decision. I don't know where you did your research but obviously not from people that have had experience with them. Eibachs are by far one of the worst riding and handling spring on the market for our cars. Also as Tex said tho it's your money so good luck.

Seriously?
2006 Sti with full coilover
87 T2 Rex full coilover
several srt's with lowering springs
1990 supra lowering springs
1995 gst tein coilovers(my last car)
1992 civic airride
1997 gt mustang lowering springs(hated that suspension, felt so rough)
My all time favorite was my gst...Tein coilovers....it floated like a cloud and took corners like they were nothing:) oh...there is most likely more of a list it's just late and can't think too well now. The sti's setup feels exactly like mine; it's really stiff but feels firm. He can definitely take the corners better but the body roll and straightline setup feels identical.
