 can anyone help with a problem i am having..
My radiator fan does not work when engine temp reaches a certain temp anymore. the other problem i am having is.. my A/c works only while i am driving down the road.. if i have to stop and idle.. then a click in engine is heard and the a/c puts out hot moist air.... and this clicking noise occurs like every 30 seconds....any advice?

I have a 99 Cavalier and the same thing happens to me. And I'm in hot Las Vegas so it's not a good thing. The AC only works well speeding down the Interstate since the fan is not working. So I talked to a mechanic and since my car is not from the Vegas area it may have got some condesation and/or rusting in the fan motor. So I'm going to buy a fan motor from Auto Zone for about $37.00 and try to install it myself. I may also need to change the thermostat which is even cheaper but you would have to drain out some of your coolant before installing it. If anyone else has these problems, post your solutions because I'm not sure that's my problem quite yet.

Check ur fuse for the cooling fans and if u can check check ur fan relay to start with. The a/c will only work if ur cruiseing because after 40mph ur fans will normally turn off if ur fans r not working now the a/c will not work because the computer sense it and trys to protect the motor from over heating
