I have a 2000 Dodge Neon and I was making a left hand turn and all of a sudden my wheel locked and I had to force it to turn. My manager said I need new Steering wheel fluid. Is this true?
Also I think my transmission is slipping. There is 121000 miles and when I stop I have to hit the gas hard to get it to move and if I'm on a hill it rolls backwards a little before jerking forward. Any suggestions?

Check your power steering fluid level...you might want to flush it and put some synthetic P/S fluid in there.

When was the last time you had a transmission fluid and filter change?

I bought the car in March 06 and I have never had a filter change! I just spoke to Aamco and they told me that it be anymore from $100 for minor and up for major.

Don't let Aamco service the trans. They are notorious for putting the wrong fluid into Dodge transmissions and ruining them.
