maybe this has been done before; frankly, i'm too lazy to check. but i thought it'd be cool to see what sites you've bookmarked and check frequently for inspiration, tricks, etc...
one of my favorites is God Dwells in Small Things (http://www.linkclub.or.jp/~ak-model/) and Akihiro Kamimura's sister site, Modeling Factory (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.sankaido.jp/f1modeling/m_factory/index.html&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=4&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3DAKIHIRO%2BKAMIMURA%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D% 26sa%3DG) which is in Japanese but linked here to an English translation.
i'm sure everyone's bookmarked these, but Bil Attridge (http://members.shaw.ca/bil_attridge/index.htm) and Alex Kustov (http://www.italianhorses.net/) opened my eyes to the possibilities of this hobby when i first started out. i still refer regularly to Alex's excellent tutorials. (http://www.italianhorses.net/Tutorials/tutorials.htm)
William Chan (http://www.formularacingminiatures.com/) inspires me, and there's some cool stuff at the 1/43 Gallery. (http://homepage.mac.com/mfc143/index.html)
and when i want to be completely blown away, i check out Andy Mathews. (http://www.andymathews.com/index.php) if you haven't checked out his clearview book, do yourself a favor and do so.

those are all fine and good, but frankly, I'm not into ferarris and f-1, so I can't give a non biased opinion. the sites are fantastic, well architechtured, and easy to negotiate.
I preffer hot rods and customs (cars, AND trucks), and it's to bad for me that I can't find any decent sites without skimming through a bazzillion worthless pages on google.

the point is to get other people to post 'em so we don't have to do all that wading. :) so if you've got any, go ahead and post 'em.
Here's a couple you might like:
PDF on detailing Ford flatheads (http://www.scaleautomag.com/sca/objects/pdf/sca-ff0405.pdf)
Links to galleries of all kinds of builds, from '32 coupes to military vehicles. (http://www.rocketfin.com/mcc/main.html)
Please don't link to other forum sites.

Here is a resource you might find handy, Rsxse. While it doesnt feature models, they have thousands of pics of original and customized hot rods and cars and is a great resource when you need ideas for paintjobs and looks but mostly I like it when I need references to make a model's engine and interiors more realistic.

RSXSE- if you don't subscribe to The Rodder's Journal, (http://www.roddersjournal.com/) i'd highly recommended it. it's a bit pricey, but worth every single penny. i've subscribed for years, and it is by far the best hot rod and custom publication available.
