Yeah just get the PS6 tutorials... they're close enough... there are plenty on kazaa... the new tools in ps7 are pretty easy to figure out..

They also made scatter brushes and made the brushes all resizeable. Also they added the File Browser. Small things, but it adds up to a big difference.

Whoops! I forgot tool presets. Let's say you have a favorite set of settings for the crop tool - like I do at work, I'm always having to type in 5 pica x 7.25 pica x 200 ppi to crop mugshots, then type in 1 col x 16 pica for wedding photos, then other sizes for other photos, etc. Now I just click on a tool preset and it automatically fills in the values for me.

The tool presets work for any tool - like for example if you're always using the airbrush tool with a certain transparency and a certain spacing and a certain brush. Well you can program that into a preset and then you don't have to set that tool up every time you want to use it.

damn the presets sound tight. i use way more than just the standard brushes for my work of art  :D is there any differences in image ready?

Haven't really used ImageReady in either version, can't tell you.

Yes, you will love the presets. Also, the scatter brushes are very very handy. There are two that will draw automatic grass!! In any size!!

This is such a big feature - sometimes in the old photoshop I would want to draw concentric circles for whatever reason, so I'd have so make a circular selection, then deselect the middle, then select a circle in the middle, then deselect its center, etc. Now I just choose the concentric circle brush and select a diameter - it's soo easy. I luv you, Photoshop 7!!!

You know, i don't think i've ever touched the brushes in ImageReady, everytime i needed 'em, i just flipped back to photosho.... i just find it easier to work with...
