No more work until next year!

I fill like it's been forever since I've surfed a little AF. We've been so busy at work all I've wanted to do is come home and just watch tv and go to bed.

But now I'm finally off, for the REST OF THE YEAR!!!

Mine starts tommorrow. I don't have to be back until the 2nd. Still have plenty of annual leave after that too. :p

i've got a vacation from the 23rd until the 4th, crappy eh. i need to get drunk really bad, i've been sober for almost a month (it'll be a month if i don't drink before the 24th) and i've had a stressfull few weeks and i just need to let loose. holy crap do i ever need a break.

Today is the last day for me until next year. It should be nice not having to work for over a week. But I'm not used to not working. I'm sure I'll think of stuff to do... LOL

School ended for me on the 8th of December, and I've been off work since the 10th. Don't have to go back to America until the 8th of January.

This is the longest vacation ever.

They couldn't find enough people to volunteer. its me and the 4-5 people beneath me that are "required" to work. Im seriously thinking of not going in at all. Even the extra pay really isn't motivating me.

I work 3pm-11pm Christmas Eve and Day but my family has never been too big on the whole holiday thing. I'm just mad I'm gonna miss eating at grandma's house :frown:

My office only got the time off because we came close to meeting the office goals. I work tomorrow... but seeing as how our "Holiday Party" starts at noon, and on good word I know there will be booze, I wonder how interesting it will be tutoring kids while drunk. ;)

I need a vacation more than most people, i just cant bring myself to take one...I work with a bunch of idiots and I dont trust them enough to take any more than a couple days off because it will mean I will have to spend more time fixing their screwups. Enjoy your vacation!

I feel ya. I can't say I really need a vacation more than most, but up until Thanksgiving I had only taken 2 days off in over a year. I feel bad taking vacation because I'm really the only one that does what I do. But if I don't use it then I lose the days so I used the 5 I have left.

Feels wierd not to get up and do anything though.

anyway, i'm gonna drive to minnesota after new years to see family and that's my last vacation for a while, but is driving 16+hrs to a colder state a vacation?:dunno:

Someone lied... there were no booze... and we had to stay for the full business hours. :( When I left, only 4 kids were on the system. It had been hours since someone had actually tutored a kid. What a crock of shyte.

Could be... if there had been any kids online... It was kinda pitiful. Oh well. I can certainly supply my own booze. Beside which, since one of the tutors got a promotion, I might stand a chance at getting the next promotion that comes along... that made my holiday a little brighter. :)
