I am planning a full b16 swap someday on my 89 hb 1.5 4 speed. but in the meantime will the trans from the b16 bolt up to my d15b. I just need more speed my 4 speed is only letting me hit 90 at redline:disappoin

go with a dx tranny. its a 5 speed and not as short of gears as the si trans. but d series is d series.

As if your tiny little motor needs to be cruising at 90 anyways.

ur really redlinin at 90? lol i remember 90 was all my lil engine had but i wasnt redlinin and i had it fully advanced lol

well it feels like redline stupid car has no tach. thanks max. and no i dont cruise at 90 only in short bursts when i am pissed at the car in front of me

yea id liek ot retarct my last statment. we dont need to see another civic lost in the world.

get the Si tranny. my DX tranny was slow as snails. with my Si tranny i can spin the tires shifting into 3rd with my poopy d15b2! ohhhh yeah. basicly any tranny off a D series engine will work with your D series engine. just avoid hydro trannys (if you can even find one)
