Where is the IAC - How Can i check it

Just as the subject says. I have haynes manual but it shows it on some part and I don't know where that is.

I have a rough idle when the car is cold and was told to check / replace it.

the IAC (Idle Air Control valve) is located on the side of the throtle body. Do not confuse it with the Throttle Position Sensor which is connected to the throttle blade. The throttle body is located between the intake manifold and the air box.

Best thiing is to try and clean it and the port in sits in up inside the intake.
Dont push or turn the tip/end of the IAC. It will knock it out of calibration, resulting in a worse idle or no start.

They arent cheap :grinno:

I bought mine for 39 bux at partsamerica.com aka Advanced Auto Parts :grinyes: it wasn't that bad of price. hehe she was really dirty to yikes! i wish that would have solved my problems. ohh how ga gt's are mellons
