Hi,

I just stuck a photo etch part onto my model just now and it went cloudy... Any ideas how I can get rid of it ? I used superglue...

What went cloudy, the PE or the model? Painted or not, with what? The cloudyness is (obviously) likely because of the CA, but to fix it you need to give more details.

Also, this is a good question for the main modeling forum, not the In Progress forum.

It may be too late for this PE part, but try "sticking" your small PE parts with "Future"...

Future or any other clear acrylic paint.

The part went cloudy due to the out gassing that occures while the CA (superglue) dries. Some companies make "odorless" or "fog-free" CA mixtures that you could try.

Depending on the actual problem you could either polish out the "gof" or recoat the part in clear.

hth,
Bill
