Hey , as i was Lookin around My cars engine compartment i found the evaporator canister. i found it with 2 hoses connected to it , "tank" and "purge" . my question is , is there suppose to be a hose connected to the valve labeled " air " and if so where is it connected to? Because mine is empty.

I checked my 93 and it's like yours with just the two hoses. There is also an underhood label which shows just two hoses going to the canister. I suspect that on some applications, this canister air port might be connected to the air filter.
My EVAP canister air port has a small plastic fitting on it (not airtight) whose purpose, I guess, is to keep out large dirt particles but still allow air to enter the canister.

Checked my '92 park avenue and '93 LeSabre, both have only the two hoses like yours!
