flushing money down the toilet

this is just a vent comment thread

my wife didnt say anything about her insurance runing out cause we have our own insurance. so she gets pulled over and get 3 fines and a warning.

1 she didnt have no seatbelt on
2 no damn insurance
3 she never stuck the glass piece on the dash for her inspection sticker cause she broke her other window and its new

so she called me right after and told me the cop let her off easy and it was under 100 bucks so im like damn it i am trying to save up money to buy a shit load of parts off thor and its christmas time. anyway i go down there to pay them off and here its 500 freaking dollars im like what the hell it was 400 for the insurance and 50 each for the seatbelt and inspection so now i have to make payments on this and save up money all at the same time.

so now i feel like im flushing money down the toilet with people just being stupid or lazy. which in a way i should be happy cause i have 8 members of my family on the police force and i know she should have been charged 1k for the insurance alone so she did get a break, but she makes more money than me i pay most the bills and she expects me to pay this crap its just rediculous

well i feel a little better i guess i better go to sleep being i hadd to pick up 4 more shifts this week to make up for it

That sucks... I would make her ass pay for it. After the shit I've been through with women, I will not pay for all the stupid shit like that anymore. Especially if they make more money than me.

yeah that sucks big time man, i think you should tell her she needs to pay you back since it's something she did, and plus she makes more than you.

yea we had a talk today i just told her its about time she starts to carry her self instead of me taking everything on. so we made a list of all the bills which isnt very much and little stuff and split it down the middle it should give us both a whole extra paycheck to ourselfs per month so she cant complain about that

yeah... I've just kicked my girl out... now she's gonna have her own bills to pay, instead of me covering her ass...

Yeah, I know a/b some tickets and court costs though... prolly $1200-1500 in one year...

I've been good (and mostly without car) for a/b the last year... I think last ticket was last Dec/Jan...

I don't mind paying for everything with my fiencee'. Shes in college right now, and it makes me feel depended upon. It will certainly be nice to have an extra 40k a year though when she's finished!!!!!! Good luck..
