MSD 6AL = 6420 INSTALLED in a C1500 350

:licka: well since I have the MSD 6AL, and its been just sitting here for months. Im tired of looking at it. I want to install it in my suburban. My question is, is there anyone on here runing any msd ignitions?

I was gonna install it in a newer model Tahoe, but I cancelled that plan, and will be getting a Cadillac DTS.

Im sure its good, its says:

more spark energy & power
quickness throttle response
improves idle and starting
increases economy
superior performance

Im thinkin about doing it today, Ill keep you guys posted about performance afterwards... My main reason is also the quickness throttle response, and economy, but I know I cant expect much economy... :)

May not be relevant here, but I used a stock Mopar electronic ign in my race car with a big cam and 2 -4's and 12.5:1 compression, switched to the MSD, saw absolutley no performance change.

my stangs throttle response got way quicker when I installed the 6AL, coil and distributor..

:eek: :naughty: Wow... excellent add on, liked it so much, I just order a msd coil for the truck also! 100% throttle response improvement almost! starts immediatily, and purrs.... I also then further, changed my spark plugs to AC DELC - RAPPID FIRES gapped @ .40, and NEW BOSCH sprial wound wires, and new distribution cap and rotor. Diffently a nice tune up, extremely quick truck now.. :grinyes: I already had a K&N intake also, stock exhaust (new) I have a few pics bellow...

well I pulled in 17.5 MPG CITY DRIVING today!! WOW this MSD and my recent tuneup is great!! I was driving hard also!! Its just not as easy to baby her on take offs, with the new MSD install, the RPMs jump up by them selves... :naughty: I will try calculate some highway mileage today..

I just would like to recomend this product to all!! diffently drives like a totally different truck! I would have more feedback when I get my MSD Coil, I ordered!
