Anyone know how to bleed the air out of the coolant system on a 02' Grand Am with the V-6?

for the 3.4 the valve is on the crossover pipe, right-front of the engine. Just crack it open a bit, after the engine is at operating temp.

The best way to get the air out is to have the front end of the car elevated slightly.
And at running temp as crazu jim said.

Then turn the heater on full heat to allow the heatercore to clear the air that gets trapped in thier.

On the passside above the water pump you'll see a black tube
which has a piece that sticks up and is brass on the top.
Turn/Open the small bolt in the center and it'll purge the air through a hole in the bolt.
Might take a few minutes and a few trys.
