What do you mean it didn't work? Is the vacuum line still hooked up to it? Did you use a gasket? Are you positively sure it's facing the right direction?

There are two springs but it won't effect functionality of the surge valve, just when the the air releases and how much pressure it can hold, etc.

all vacuum lines are connected and it is facing the correct position, there is no vacum leaks, it just wont blow off like it should, and i was told there are two types of springs in the bov, this one has six coils.

you installed it backwards, the center hole going 1/2 the way through goes towards the ground/front of the car or away from the turbo itself

somthing went wrong on the install. uninstall it and try it again. i am assuming you still have your solinoids on the air box. follow the vacume lines and check the connections
