keyless entry/ radio 96'

where have you guys put your stock radio units to keep the keyless entry sensor? i bought a harness that will plug into my new pioneer and the stock one to give it power but whats the best place to put the old one? or is there a different way of doing it. thanks

I have heard that you can slide the old radio into the back and install the new one in its place.

yes. just slide it back and drop it down. maybe even tape it to secure it... that way it won't rattle around
