My Christmas Challenge!

I have decided to give myself the challenge of completing 3 cars by January 1st. I've got time off work over Christmas so what better way to spend that time than by building some cars! They're just going to be OOB, so nothing special, its going to be hard enough to get them all done in time.
First up is going to be a Fujimi V35 Skyline 350GT, thats going to be silver.
Second is a Fujimi CRX Del Sol. It comes with the roof molded in, so that has to be removed since i'm going to do the targa version. Thats going to be green.
Third is a Aoshima Honda Beat. I have a racing version of this kit, so I'm yet to decide whether to do it as the track version or the street version since it comes with parts for both. This is going to be red.
I'll have some pic's up tonight.

Fully removed now. I also removed those little posts on the doors since I think they look ugly.

The Beat comes with two different choices for the wheels, the stock ones and some nice Volk TE37's. I'll be going with the TE37's.

The mold lines have been removed from the DelSol and its been given a coat of primer. There is a crack across the top of the windscreen that happened when I cut the roof out which needs to be fixed and a few other little things. I will post up some more tomorrow.

I just sawed through it to get the big bit out of the middle, then trimmed the rest with a blade. Theres probably an easier way to do it though, if there it could someone please tell me.

Thread Saw! Get a thread (I use a fine one for me,but breakes easily, but makes the cut sharp),a blade, and sandpaper. With the blade, start a little cut (large enough to the thread to enter) and start cutting it (making movements,up and down,or left to right,it depends). When you finish cutting it,take a high or low grit sandpaper (depends on how the cut became, and sand it to make it smooth.) It's easy for me,but I did a crappy explainment. Sorry for the bad english. I think someone can teach you better!

I got a dremel today, I think i should have waited for that before cutting the roof off, but nevermind.
DelSol has been primered, the crack above the windscreen puttied, sanded and a 2nd coat of primer is on now.
The interior is going to be a tan colour, thats being primered now too. The seats had big holes in the back of them, so they were filled with some sheet styrene. I still need to putty the gaps and sand it all smooth.
The Skyline and the Beat are ready for primer now too, and both of them will have black interiors. The Beat's has already been painted flat black, and will get flocking and detail painting tomorrow.

OK so i've done some more work on the cars, first up the seats for the DelSol after the first sanding, added some more putty and a coat of primer, they still need more work to be smoothed out, but they are better than before.
http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/5374/pc230183pn5.th.jpg (http://img245.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pc230183pn5.jpg)
I'm only going to fix the top parts, since you won't see the bottom half of the seat back when its in the car.
Next the interior for the Beat has been given some carpet, sorry about the bad photo.

And a quick mockup of the interior

And the DelSol's interior done in tan, the colour doesn't show up too well on the screen and its raining here today, so no sunlight for photo's.
