No throttle response 3800

An ideas why I have lost all throttle response on my '97 GP 3800?
When I hit the pedal it almost dies, and at idle it has a big missfire and lunges horribly at startup.

Could be a lot of things.

Plugged cat
Low fuel pressure
MAF or TPS sensor
Bad plugs, wires, coils

I wouldn't think any of those would create absolutely no throttle response all at once. I need to check fuel pressure still, has brand new wires on it. I can place it at wide open throttle and it will still idle, It's very strange to me.

Is the check engine light on? IF so, get it scanned and post the codes. If you live near an Advance or Auto-Zone, they will pull the codes for free if the CEL is on, just don't believe what they say the codes mean.

If it's running that bad you should be able to rule out the cat just by having someone drive by while you listen to the exhaust. It'll sound restricted if it's bad.

You'll need a gauge to test the fuel pressure. I think they cost about $40.

You can try disconnecting the MAF & see if it runs better.
TPS can be checked with a voltmeter. Don't quote me but I think it should have .4-.5 volts at idle & 4-5 volts WOT.

Just examining the plugs can rule out most coil, wire & plug problems.

I will check fuel pressure this weekend. Anybody have any idea where I can find a MAF sensor or complete throttle body? I know they get swapped often with the 'go fast' crowd.
