Hey I have a 90 Civic hatchback Dx and the battery is fine (i think) but sometimes the car will not start. Its manual and it seems like the battery is dead but my lights, stereo everything still works. This happens once in awhile I try to start it and it just goes "click," sometimes i would let go the clutch and press it again and it will start but not all the time. Any help?? Please and thanks.

Where do you hear the click? From the starter? You may have a worn solenoid. Take it apart and repair it...it's fairly easy. Once you tear a starter apart, you'll NEVER have to buy a new one again. I can't believe people even get rid of them, or ever buy new ones, they're so easy to fix.
