speedo gear

????????????? I just installed an R33 GT-R motor and tranny in my R32 GT-R. after installing all this crap I went to install the speedo gear and found out it was completely different. On the r32 it is a cable , but on the new one it looks electronic ?????!!!!! how do I fix this? they won't just interchange the gear size is way different . The only way I could see was machine the input shaft to fit ?? it looks like it will work ,but I am not sure any suggestions ????? also can I use an r33 ecu on my car ?is there a difference??? The R33 ECU, from the info that I have heard it should work, but I do not have any first hand information.
