How do I get the resevoir out to clean it. It looks like I have to take out the whole air cleaner box to do it. Any suggestions

Do ever plan on installing a CAI/FWI?
Due to the poor location of the coolant reservoir on 97 - 98 models and the dimensions of most CAIs the coolant bottle gets relocated to the passenger side strut tower. There is a kit that runs around $30 which includes the newer style bottle. Since I have a Thrasher CAI I relocated mine. It makes the future job of cleaning the reservoir easier. Just FYI in case you have future plans.

Yeah, I will do a CAI here real soon. I got it out and cleaned it real good and put it all back together with a new air filter. What a pain in the butt. Please I know I sound like an idiot but I cant find the heater return line to put the T in from the prestone flush kit. Is there a picture somewhere that you know I could go to. I should have never took the book back to autozon....

If you look behind the engine at the firewall there are two hoses from the water pump. The bottom hose/inlet is the heater core input. The top is the output (return). Just follow the instructions on the flush kit if you have one. Good luck!
