Marble caterham (group build)

My marble caterham is finaly finished. I wanted something entirely different than all the other caterham builds. So no engine swaps, no machined aluminium trumpets, No 21inch wheels... just some minor mods and a special paintjob

Hope you like it.

I love your concept - extremely original and superbly executed! Congratulations
I also like the 1/24/24 box on the seat
Don't forget you PROMISED a "how to" on the marble effect :evillol:

To be honest. it's not 1/24/24 box in the seat. it's about 30% to big.

Did I promised a how to? Damn my memory ;-)
Don't worry, when I'm in the mood, I'll make a How-To, and I'll probably explain how to do white marble as wel.

We have a winner! I think this is the first one completed.

Awesome- it looks terrific. Sounded like a strange idea at first, but I really like how it came out. Now we just need that tutorial, and some bigger pics with more light!

30% too big, huh? Maybe it's a 1/12 kit. Kind of presents a dilema- go for a drive, or rush home and build? Decisions, decisions.

Dude, that looks really awesome. I'm really impressed on how it came out. Seems like we're gonna have a few of these kits done pretty soon :)

Very nice, I really like the paintjob. I can see now why these are so popular and you did a fine job with this.

No I don't have engine pics. I decided to concentrate on the exterior, so i haven't spent ANY time on the hidden details. There isn't simply any engine details. The hood is gleud to the rest of the car, It's almost an curbside.

Great build, simple but stunning! to say the least. And your right just enough mods to be different, but not crazy :). The paint is awesome, cant wait for the how-to! The rims and the mini-model look great. Top notch

Like the box idea too :D

Finishing sound a bit strange to me but seeing now, is good; it remind me a military camouflage: cool.
