Hi,
just like mentioned somewhere else in this forum here is another review.
However, rather short this time, it is "only" a sheet of decals.

Lots of you have probably seen and read the "Ping & Pong present: Two VERY Red Ferraris" - thread ( http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=620906 ) from our Chinese modelers Ping and Pong - lol.

However, meanwhile it should be known that the modelers are klutz_100 and gionc – fantastic builts, btw !!

As mentioned somewhere in that thread, they offer the decals of this project for a reasonable price of 15 Euros plus postage. So I ordered two, one for me and one for a friend for Christmas.
This is what you get when you order one sheet:

Looking at the decals they are incredible sharp and give you the opportunity to build both cars, the red and the silver one !!!

In the above mentioned building thread it can be seen, that they look great on the body and maybe klutz_100 and gionc can post their impression about working with them.

Additionally you get the print, showing where to place the decals.

The CD contains 140 SUPER photos (including the 612 owners manual) of the cars on their China tour.

All in all: Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Donīt hesitate to order from klutz_100 or gionc, there are only 200 decal sheets produced)

All in all: Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Micha, I'm glad you liked the decals and I hope your friend likes his present!
Considering who they are for, I am honored (and a little nervous ).

Also, knowing you and how you do not hesitate to tell your honest opinion (something I agree with fully), I am very happy that you felt our little project deserved a good review. Thank you.

P.S. I saw in one the photos that a corner of one sheet is bent slightly. Was it damaged in the post? Would you like a replacement sheet?

I Agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed LOL (and Stevensky Harry Potter)

I'm a bit courious now about who's Micha friend (better I start to worry?)

Regarding opinion of decals usage, I guess I unespress mine in my thread: I'll do now, decal film is super-thin, some skill needed, but I guess everyone in this board may achieve his great job, after cured film is invisible, really invisible: you have to look against-light to see different light reflection. All this over Lecher automotive stuff, can't say with standard tamiya or so stuff.
Another thing worried me was reaction with clear: so I used just the worst coat I know speacking of decal safe: TS13, job done with 2 light coat plus a wet one: just perfect, never was melt, just a thin (almost none decal softener required, just a mix of water+set to allow decals to slide in the right place) and extremely rexistant decal film.
That's for the manifacture quality.. for the design.. I leave you to comment.
